‘Bachelorette’ star Clare Crawley says her wedding dress was stolen

I guess that was “something stolen” from her.

“Bachelorette” star Clare Crawley, 41, recently went on vacation to Hawaii with her fiancé Ryan Dawkins – but when she got home she found her wedding dress had disappeared from her car.

“I trust deep in my soul that everything has a reason. And we may not know what that reason looks like right now, but it works. So let me tell you what happened,” Crawley began on her Instagram Story on Saturday.

“When Ryan and I returned from Hawaii earlier this week, my car had been broken into while we were away. And guess what was in the car? Remember my wedding is very soon. My wedding dress was in my car,” the Bachelor: Winter Games graduate continued.

“It was in there because I was supposed to take it to get his last change and I wanted to remind myself not to forget it.”

While Crawley was upset “in the moment,” she said, “it’s about the moment and what we’re celebrating. I can carry anything and I’m happy that we’re here.”

Luckily, when Crawley went to collect her veil, the owner of the bridal shop helped her find a replacement dress.

“Within three days I had a brand new dress altered in the best way, ironed, completely re-altered, like even more fitting. Turns out that was the wedding dress that was on my Pinterest board three years ago. It’s the dress of my dreams.”

The former reality star called her new dress “the most beautiful dress” and said she is “still crying tears of joy” as “everything is going the way it’s supposed to go — and sometimes even better.”

Crawley also showed off her Something Borrowed and Something Blue on Instagram: a handkerchief embroidered with the words “Happy Tears” and two hearts in the symbolic color.

Fellow “Bachelor” alum Vanessa Grimaldi commented, “Love this and love this for you.”

Ex-contestant Courtney Robertson wrote “And best of all, something new,” referring to her fresh dress.

The hairstylist was previously engaged to “Bachelorette” contestant Dale Moss in 2020 before the couple called it quits “for good” the following year.

Crawley got engaged to Dawkins in Las Vegas at the RiSE music festival in October 2022, after nearly a year together.
