PHILADELPHIA – The 21st-ranked University of Pennsylvania wrestling team continues to see eight wrestlers earn national recognition in the latest round of rankings released this week. The Quakers are represented in eight weight classes as the team prepares to make the trip north to Ithaca for a duel at #6 Cornell. As a team, the Red-Blues received national rankings from Wrestlestat (#21), Wrestling Insider Newsmag (#23), Intermat (#24) and have again participated in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Coaches Survey (#25).

senior citizens Anthony Artalona (157), Ben Goldin (285) and Doug Zapf (149), Juniors Michael Colaiocco (133), Luke Revano (165) and Cole Urbas (197) and sophomores Ryan Miller (125) and Nick Incontrera (174) are all ranked in the latest college wrestling rankings.
Colaiocco continues to represent the Red-Blues with single-digit finishes. The junior peaked at #7 on the first NCAA Coaches’ Panel and is #8 on Intermat, Wrestlestat, The Open Mat, Wrestling Insider Newsmag and #9 on Flo-Wrestling and Amateur Wrestling News rankings. Colaiocco with top 15 finishes is joined by Zapf, who is ranked 10th (NCAA Coaches’ Panel), 11th (Flo-Wrestling, Wrestlestat), 12th by Intermat and 13th by The Open Mat, Amateur Wrestling News and Wrestling says Insider Newsmag. Incontrera reached the top 15 rankings at #13 by Wrestlestat and Wrestling Insider Newsmag.

Penn takes to the mat for a single dual at Cornell this weekend. The Quakers return to The Palestra on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. for a match against Princeton (February 10).
